Xiaomi Mi A3 vs Redmi Note 7 Pro Comparison - Android One Worth It?

Today we are comparing the newly released Xiaomi Mi A3 with the Redmi Note 7 Pro to find out which one is the better choice in the 15k price bracket.

Both the phones have a dot drop notch uptop but that is where the similarities end when it comes to displays. The sizes are almost similar but the Redmi Note 7 Pro is slightly larger at 6.3 inches while the Mi A3 is smaller at 6.01 inches. The resolution and screen type is also different- we have a Full HD+ IPS LCD panel on the Redmi Note 7 Pro while the Mi A3 has a HD+ AMOLED display.
Internally the Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with the more powerful Snapdragon 675 processor while the Mi A3 has the Snapdragon 665. When it comes to memory, the Redmi Note 7 Pro has 4/6 GB of RAM along with 64/128 GB of internal storage while the Mi A3 comes with 4 GB of RAM and the same 64/128 GB of internal storage space.
Moving to the battery side of things we have the same 4,000mAh battery on both the phones.
Coming down to the cameras, we have a dua; camera setup on the back of the Redmi Note 7 Pro - the primary being the 48MP IMX 586 sensor while the secondary is a 5MP depth sensor. On the other hand we have the same 48MP primary sensor on the MI A3 but it comes with an 8MP ultrawide camera along with a 2 MP depth sensor making for a tri[;e camera setup to the rear. To the front we have a 13MP selfie camera on the Redmi Note 7 Pro while the MI A3 comes with a 32MP selfie snapper.
The Mi A3 comes with stock Android 9 Pie while the Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on MIUI 10 based on Android Pie as well.
