The Redmi 5 comes with the latest Snapdragon 450 chip, and the Redmi 5 Plus comes with the Snapdragon 625 chip.
Redmi 5 has a 5.7" Display with a HD+ resolution and the Redmi 5 Plus has a 5.99" Display with a Full HD+ resolution.
Redmi 5 comes with a 3,300 mAh battery unit underneath while the Redmi 5 Plus comes with a 4000 mAh battery.
Redmi 5 and 5 Plus both have the same optics, a 12MP camera with an F2.2 aperture and a large 1.25 micron pixel size.
On the front there is a 5 Megapixel camera and an included selfie flash as well.
