YAKUZA 4 - Shun Akiyama Chapter 4 - The Promise (Part 4)
You'll see an interesting scene. Some punk-looking dude belting out "Kamurocho Lullaby" the hit enka tune from the previous game. Not quite killing it like Kiryu, but at least his boys are enjoying it. Akiyama kills the tunes and the guy introduces himself as Minami, a member of the Majima Family. The tattoos covering him are a garish mix of Western and Eastern motifs. Most yakuza tattoos don't have big skulls on their back or the word "HONOR" in English on their stomach. Seems Minami's a different breed of cat. He's looking for Lily on behalf of his boss, Goro Majima himself. Akiyama coolly informs him that Lily has left his club, and he won't be giving up any info on her. Naturally, Minami won't be having any of this.
Minami is a bit of a wild fighter, like his boss. He's got flashy spin kicks and if he gets knocked down, he has a good chance of doing a dashing punch to retaliate. Now's a perfect time to develop a key combat skill: the "fighting stance, quickstep around an attack, strike their back" skill, to be specific. Minami will give you enough time to dodge around him, so blast his back when he does. After a bit of damage, he'll start chugging on a bottle of alcohol. He'll pop Heat with this and get more armor to your attacks. Continue to beat his back. Eventually, you'll get in a cutscene where he spits booze at you and tries a diving attack. Hit the QTEs to damage him.
With Minami down, who should enter the party, but Majima himself. The normally wacky and wild yakuza, now the most serious man in the room, calls off Minami and confirms with Akiyama that he doesn't know where she is. Akiyama braves to ask why the Tojo yakuza are so concerned with her. Majima can only speak for himself. He says that "Yasuko" is someone he has to protect, as a way to make amends for 1985. With that, Akiyama's part ends, but the story is only beginning.
