Yakuza: Like a Dragon - Chapter 12 End / Boss 23: Them!
11After spending a lot of time at the Battle Arena to get a full Dragon set for everyone, enough cash and materials to upgrade my weapons quite a bit, and a fair number of levels and job levels, it's time to head to the Omi HQ where we'll have to be sneaky, thankfully it's not too difficult as the guards follow some pretty simple patterns.
Eventually, the party will run into some Omi guards, two level 47 and one level 48 one, they were very simple at my level, but they're only the appetizer for...
Goro Majima and Taiga Saejima! These two show up right there, and they're spoiling for a fight, that is the reason you had such a good opportunity to train with the Battle Arena!
First off, that Receive You remix is glorious, that had to be pointed out.
As far as the fight goes, Majima fights you alone at first, and is only weak to Fire, he resists Pierce attacks, so stick to Blunt strikes if you can't exploit his weakness. Meanwhile he'll mostly use Slashing attacks, and some of his moves can paralyze you, so be ready to deal with it. Once he loses about 25% of his health, he'll call three weaker Doppelgängers, take out two of them and then focus back to Majima himself, you don't want to eliminate the third one just yet.
Once Majima reaches about 50% of his health, he'll unleash his Hannya's Spirit, increasing his Attack and Evasion, that's your cue to set up your buffs (Including Ichiban's Peerless Resolve if that's an option.) before finishing off the last Doppelgänger, because when you do...
Saejima joins the fight! He hits just as hard as you'd expect, and is weak to Ice while resisting Blunt attacks, after a few turns, he'll unleash his Tiger's Spirit, further bolstering his Attack, and announcing the incoming Blade Kill, a strong combination attack that'll target Ichiban for pretty impressive damage! At this point, there's nothing to do but focus all efforts to take down Majima, and then Saejima, if you have a Dealer, Darts Airstrike will melt his health once he's alone.
After that intense fight, Arakawa finally shows up, with none other than Daigo Dojima in tow, and a lot of explanations follow...
The next day, we return to the Omi HQ as guests, and things escalate pretty quickly, leading us into a fight against 6 Omi members, thankfully they're nothing compared to the two legends you faced before.
Speaking of legend, another one shows up to help you out, and you're then thrust into another fight against 6 more Omi members.
Take them out, and a lot of cutscenes later, you'll reach the end of this eventful chapter!
