Yakuza: Like a Dragon PS5 4K 60FPS - Finale - Kamurocho Underground Dungeon
This entire dungeon is completely optional and up to you, however, I would HIGHLY recommend coming here if your characters are in the 40s like mine were. And for one simple enemy - Invested Vagabond. They can be found once you reach the second floor of the dungeon, just after the save and heal spot at the end of the first floor.
For those who are familiar with Dragon Quest, the similarity is identical. If you haven't figured it out yet, Invested Vagabond = Metal Slimes. What's their purpose? MASSIVE Experience. Killing one of these enemies alone will net you a whopping 400K per character and battle. Nice right? One one issue. Just like Metal Slimes, they have a high chance of running away when scared. Also, each attack will do 1 damage if you're lucky to hit them. So how do you kill them before that happens?
A few different ways. The best ability by far is Joon-gi Han's Rapid Shot ability. This will allow you to attack numerous times with his guns, often dealing 2 damage multiple times to the Vagabond. Using the skill should bring his health down to 1/3 remaining. Next is Eri's Lucky Punch ability. It's not guaranteed, though the critical chance rate is around 50%, which when landed, will kill Vagabond instantly. If Vagabond is still alive by this point, which he'll be almost dead, keep attacking with either Ichiban's bat, allowing three hits, and then finish off with Adachi's samurai sword, another 2 hits.
Using this method is near foolproof, however, I didn't learn about it until after making this video lol. If you're in the 40s like myself, this method alone can net you at least 15-20 levels and max out your characters job rank of 30 within an hour or two of grinding in this dungeon. Again, none of this is necessary, however, I would recommend it as the upcoming final area in the game, most enemies are high 50s, low 60s.
Keep leveling here until you hit mid 60s (I think I reached level 67 before stopping and had zero issues with the last area of the game). This should guarantee you an easy final boss, permitting you did some shopping for MP items in advance.
With that out of the way, once you're satisfied with your characters, save as we'll be heading into the final dungeon of the game.
Good luck!
