This video shows how a backup can be created and how a previously saved backup can be restored. To create a Backup we need a USB stick of at least 2GB and it needs to be properly formatted. See previous video 14 on how to format the USB stick.

When we created and stored our own Performances, loaded songs out of libraries, created Live Screens ... these are all stored in the Montage / MODX memory as 'User Data'. To prevent accidentally loss of many hours of (creative) work it's good practice to every now and then create a backup of this User Data. Also with a firmware update, after which a restore to default settings is required, a backup of our User Data is needed.
