Yggdra tried to talk things out but Queen Emolone is adamant in settling matters through force. Emolone isn't a slouch and she carries the Gungnir, a lance that grants Skill effect x2. Basically you can use certain skills for twice as long like Shield Barrier for example.

While this is going on, a bounty hunter named Mizor shows at a bad time along with a bandit partner as they are hired by the imperial army to take Yggdra.

Mizor's muse is his kicks that he wears in each encounter. You'll want to swipe the shoes whenever you run into him. His card is thunderbolt which does lightning damage but unlike the PSP version it won't paralyze units.
