The art of Mario attempting to balance some minions and a baby Yoshi was done by Zanreo! You can reach her twitter at https://twitter.com/REAL_Zanreo and check out her video game company themed webcomic at http://consolers.webcomic.ws

The first game to give Yoshi a starring role, it's Yoshi! Or is that Mario & Yoshi? ...Or is that Yoshi's Egg? This was one of the first titles from Game Freak before they went on to make Pokemon!

This is a puzzle game where you play as Mario flipping trays while balancing some of the common minions in Bowser's army. The easy way to take care of them is to make a match, but the better way is to sandwich them all between egg shells and make a Yoshi out of them.

Huh....is that what Yoshis are made of?

You can choose to play an endless game or clear the screen in level-by-level gameplay. There's also a 2-player mode that brings Luigi into the mix!

Yoshi was released for both the NES and Game Boy. The Game Boy version's smaller screen means there's less room for you to maneuver with, but is otherwise the same game. You can get the NES version of the game on Wii, Wii U, 3DS, and if you've got a Switch online count, it's available right now!

This is Ninchronicles, the show where we cover Nintendo's entire game library!

Gamechamp was instrumental in helping me figure stuff out for this game. He translated some of a Japanese guidebook for this game that helped me realize how many rewards there are in B-type as well as the mystery of the bonus game in A-type.
