We test out the new Woolly Amiibo for Yoshi's Woolly World to see what the kids think of it. Is it awesome? We will find out.

We like Toys to Life figures without bases. These woolly Yoshi amiibo also move in that direction. Without a base they are a hug-able soft plushy. Also because they don't need to stand on a portal while you play the lack of a base is neither here nor there. The result is more soft toy than tech figure and for kids the value is multiplied.

Toys to Life started with plastic figures on circular stands, like Dungeons & Dragons figures, but it's future lies in moving towards toys without bases.
