Yoshi's Island DS Playthrough Part 2
0In this part, we complete some more stages of World 1. We also return to 1-2 and 1-3 for their Baby Coins, which we needed Baby Peach for.
These are the stages shown in this part:
World 1-5: Catch the Breeze!: In this stage, we're introduced to a new baby: Baby Peach! When using Baby Peach, Yoshi can't run, like with Baby Mario, however, Peach's powers are capable of performing a better glide, along with being able to catch drifts using her parasol. You'll be using the parasol a lot in this stage.
World 1-6: Glide Guys Take to the Skies!: More use of Peach's parasol and stuff.. yeah. The Helicopter form of Yoshi can also be found here. Sorry about backtracking, I thought that I missed a Red Coin for a moment.
World 1-7: Baby Mario and Baby Peach: Dynamic Duo: This stage has you alternating between Baby Mario and Baby Peach to progress. Baby Mario will be needed for the M Blocks and fast-paced areas while Baby Peach will be needed for the windy sections. We cannot get this stage's Baby Coin yet, as it requires Baby Donkey Kong.
World 1-8: Gilbert the Gooey's Castle: This castle stage isn't too hard, but like 1-4, you have to be careful when crossing the lava-filled areas. Gooeys are hazards you'll be seeing often here. The boss here is Gilbert, which is a giant... thing covered in balls. You have to destroy them by either eating them or hitting them with Eggs. It's a pretty easy boss.
