Yoshi's Woolly World Two-Player Playthrough - World 1 (Part 1)
This is part 1 of my capture of me and a friend playing through Yoshi's Woolly World for the Wii U. Peter is player one and I'm player two.
Ever since we played Yoshi's Woolly World at E3 last year, Peter has been trying to talk me into getting the game specifically because of the two-player mode. However, I was hesitant about buying this game since I had been burned by the Yoshi series before (Yoshi's Story sucked, and Yoshi's Island DS was lackluster), and because I didn't really care for the Yarn style.
But since Peter and I have a tradition of playing through two-player cooperative games, especially 2D platformers, I relented and decided to the get the game so that we'd have another title to play through. I can't really argue with another platformer, and I'm actually finding the game to be quite enjoyable. The different patterns of Yoshis are really cool, and I like the fact that I can use the Wii Remote's tilt-sensing abilities to aim where I throw my eggs. The level design is also pretty good.
There is no official strategy guide available for this game, so Peter and I are simply trying to find everything on our own during this playthrough. We'll definitely miss collectables along the way, but I'll go back later to obtain the remaining ones after we beat the game. I hope you enjoy the playthrough.
In this first part we started a new save file and completed stages 1-1 through 1-4.
Recorded with the Elgato Game Capture HD60 and the Wii U's HDMI cable at native 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. Peter is using the GamePad and I'm using a Wii Remote.
