Rant:
This video focuses on when a victim/survivor of SA decides to vent/speak up about what they've been/going through to someone trusted and that person decides to talk smack about the issues. I have been through this. The person speaking seems to not be aware of the DAMAGE the shit they say could cause. Telling me that "It's happened to other people" will not help. Telling me that you've been through something similar and you're ok does NOT help. I came to let it out to you because I trust you to not say the insensitive shit you say. None of what you say helps. And if you think you're "smart" saying that, then no, think again. It personally didn't make me doubt myself, instead I felt betrayed and angry, But I know there are some people out there that will make them doubt themselves. Make them feel the more ashamed and bad. Make them deeply regret talking and will not talk again about it. No matter what happens, you deserve to be heard. No matter who you are, what your gender is, how old you are, it still matters. There are people who actually care, keep that in mind.

Side notes:
