You Can Not Escape A Doomsday Virus, Not Even In Space
9Wandering in Space is a built from the ground up VR FPS with role-playing and roguelike elements. The game screams space sci-fi / horror movie vibes, and will keep you on edge as you play.
The game is set in the future where man has been infected with a Doomsday virus so bad, the uninfected have to escape to space to be safe. There is no out running a virus though and sure enough, it finds its way onto your ship. Now you are the only hope to fight off the hordes of infected and find a small group of survivors and help them escape.
The games environment is dark and creepy. From the dark corridors of the ship with the infected running lose and waiting behind doors to be unlocked, to the eerie sounds of the ship and the infected just over your shoulder. You will be walking with caution and looking over your shoulder time and time again. You will feel like you have jumped into a space horror movie.
As you make your way through the ship, you will have to keep an eye out for ammo, health, oxygen and more. Using your flashlight to pear through the dark to find supplies.
The infected will swarm you fast and hard, you have to make every shot count and keep moving. There are parts of the game that made me feel like I was playing Doom, with its fast pace shot and move.
If the infected does not kill you, lack of oxygen will. Death is a certain, but not the end. With each run you will collect materials to unlock new weapons and abilities. You will become stronger with each death.
If you are a fan of space sci-fi and zombie like horror movies, this game was made for you. You will feel the chills of space and shakes of the infected breathing down your neck. This is a must play VR experience.
