Rook + Bishop vs Rook is a very common endgame that happens in World Rapid and Blitz Championships. In such situations, the players have very little time and don't keep a track of 50 moves since the last capture to claim a draw. In such scenarios, you will usually see an arbiter standing next to the board and he usually keeps a count of the moves. If the player doesn't claim a draw after 50 moves, the arbiter has to give it a draw after 75 moves have been completed.

Check out this game between Christopher Yoo and Andrey Esipenko where Esipenko wants to know the number of moves he has played since the last capture, but the arbiters mention to him that he cannot ask for the number of moves. It's a very interesting situation from which you can learn quite a bit.
