Stop listenting to every guide as if it was a rule. You don't need to do that. Guides are, as their name says, guides. They are meant to help you, they are not orders nor mandates. If you don't want to do something the guide tells you to, then DON'T DO IT. You don't have to be tied to the current meta, you don't have stop enjoying a game because the character or build you like is not meta. Just have fun, that's what games are for.
