Here's a video writing prompt my daughter created.

A few weeks ago, you adopted a puppy.

You wondered what kind of dog it was. And then it sprouted a horn. Now you realize you have a labricorn. Part puppy. Part unicorn.

So, here’s where you get to be creative. You can’t just go on Google and search, “What do you do with a labricorn?”

Google’s not going to know the answer to that.

You need to come up with a plan for taking care of your labricorn.

How do you feed it? Do you feed it unicorn donuts or dog food? Or unicorn donuts with dog food sprinkles?

How does it play? What toys does it need? Is there a special unicorn sport it could learn to play?

Does it stay indoors or outdoors?

What kind of bed will it need? Rough? Soft? Small? Big?

What was its old owner like?

Where was it born? Jungle? Ocean? Forest? Desert?

What tricks could you teach it? Will it have any special unicorn powers?

Anything else you need to figure out?

Now make that plan for taking care of your labricorn.
