FAQ:

Why charge for content?
-As mentioned in the video, I wanted to streamline gameplay; a Let's Play isn't the same medium as a stream and I want my videos to reflect that. Editing down to mostly gameplay is the best choice for the platform, but I still wanted to have the longer chats available for those who cared about them and couldn't/don't want to make it over to Twitch. Thus, the membership program! So I can do my best to give us the best of both worlds.

I also put a lot of effort into creating this content! This is how I support myself! A small fee for access to a different version of a video that's already available to watch for free is totally reasonable. And optional! There's a good rule to live by when consuming artwork/creative expression: if you can't afford it, the creative isn't necessarily charging too much (or insert-unkind-adjective-here by asking for compensation in exchange for their work), it's just out of your budget at the moment. And that's ok! There's tons of stuff I'd love to buy but can't because it's not feasible for me right now. That's not Lirika Matoshi's fault. Please be aware that it takes a lot of time and energy and skill to create. And it's never ok to tell a creative what their time, energy, and skill is worth. Regardless of your ability to purchase, interest in, or appreciation of their work. Please and thanks for being kinder to people in creative professions!

How do I sign up?
-You can click the link above or any JOIN button you see on my channel. There's one near the subscribe button on every video and my home page.

Is the $2 a recurring fee?
-Yes! Access to members-only content is $2 every month. Well, $1.99, but that's basically $2. But it provides access to eeeeeverything I've ever created just for members, not just the videos published once you join.

What are the benefits?
-The backlog of every members-only video I've published, special badges to differentiate between channel members and everyone else, emotes to use in the comments, full/early access to the day's video, which includes my commentary/conversation before and after the actual gameplay.

How do I access members-only content?
-Once you've joined the channel as a member, the MEMBERSHIP tab will appear up top alongside the Playlists tab, About tab, etc. Just click on it and it will show you all your perks and members-only content.

HERE ARE WAYS YOU CAN CONTINUE TO FIGHT BIGOTRY:
1) Stay informed on well-sourced, evidenced current events!
2) Educate yourself on the effects of oppression & the patriarchy!
3) Listen to and amplify the voices of minorities: POC, women, etc!
4) Speak up when you hear a racist, sexist, homophobic, etc comment!
5) Sign petitions, contact government leaders, donate, attend protests!
6) Support minority-owned businesses! Local, small, and ethically-sourced/environmentally-friendly ones should be given priority if feasible!
7) Acknowledge your privilege & blind spots; if you get called out, just apologize and do better next time! Try to learn and grow and be your best.
8) Keep at it! Sustained efforts will enact positive change. :)
