Youtube On The Nintendo Switch

Youtube was one of the highly requested apps this year after the announcement of the Nintendo Switch Online feature was mentioned at this year's E3. A lot of people talked about how they wanted something other than the NES games and that ability to play online modes on multiplayer games. But 2 days ago, the Youtube app was released on the Nintendo E-Shop unannounced. When I was trying to work on today's episode, I had no idea that what I would find in the recent releases tab would be the app that everyone has been waiting for.
In terms of functionality, it looks and works exactly how it does on the PS4 and the PS3 version of Youtube. It's got the dark mode enabled, along with the 3 tabs on the left. Now with the switch being touch-able, you can select videos like you would on a mobile device. The search function is wweird because you can't see suggestions until they have popped up after you type in someting in the search tab. Overall, I gavve this free ap a 4 out of 5 because I feel like this is a start for Youtube and the Nintendo Switch, yet I do feel like they could've designed the app a little bit more unique.
