You've Got 5 Minutes EP46 - Outland
1Welcome to episode 46 of You've Got 5 Minutes! This time it's the MetroidVania style action-platformer, Outland. It's a cool game because it has the same system a game like Ikaruga has where you flick between red and blue states to allow you to attack enemies and avoid bullets of the same colour. To begin with there's a neutral "yellow" state too just to get you acquainted with the feel of attacking and platforming.
The red/blue switching adds quite a lot to the game. Action platformers in general are hard enough without having to switch phases in order to overcome obstacles and enemies, so keep that in mind if you do fancy playing the game yourselves!
