Adol and Dogi are out to find new adventure again. The King of Altago requests they help him investigate some strange earthquakes recently. Accepting, Adol finds out that evil was returning to the land and he will need the power of the legendary Five Dragons to help him.
The latest Ys ARPG from Falcom which gives you AI controlled party members for the first time in the series. It doesn't work too bad. Instead of the old elements you now have to switch between members to take advantage of enemy weaknesses. The down point is the tension isn't quite as high as predecessors because once Adol dies, you can simply switch to another member with full health to keep fighting. That said, it's still a fairly challenging game keeping level grinding at a fast pace.
