Ys X Nordics Boss 15: Olivardi (End of Chapter 4)
0Without much warning this boss arrives.
Difficulty: 7/10
The difficulty comes in two factors.
Phase 1 is your first real boss fight with another ship and you won't get away with spamming torpedoes because it has enough firepower to shred you down with... plasma bolts... black holes... massive lasers... yeah I don't think this boss is fighting fairly in ship combat and maybe I should upgrade mine.
Phase 2 is one of those enemy rush sort of deals but a lot of the enemies are armored and fairly powerful so you can't just burst them down like a Ys 8 raid. Though the real challenge comes in the final round when the Rayvahn shows up as this guy has a large array of attacks and 17000ish HP that also has armor so he's gonna stick around for a minute.
STORY STUFF
Basically the gang gets a message from Lira, the girl talking through us through the magic Conch, and how she knows of the Griegers. Then... Rag? Lague? However his name is gonna be officially spelled. Shows up and speaks with us informing us that he knows Lira personally and that she's hidden in the illusory fog for her protection but opens a path for us because he wants to see how things play out.
Chapter wise I don't know if we're halfway through the game yet or not but gameplay wise it's showing I haven't even explored 1/5th of the world (plus it's teasing me with skills that I'll need to reach the mid 80s to actually unlock so I think there's a fair bit of game left to go)
