Ys X Nordics: Karja Vs Phylleia
0So finally got to the point in the game where we see Phylleia's name officially spelled in english but she will be referred to as Feria until that video because I'm to lazy to go back and edit all the text.
It's cool seeing Falcom finally have a bit of an animation budget for their games.
STORY STUFF
So Karja challenges Feria to a duel because Rosalind was angry about her stepping out and leaving her family behind, also Feria was considered to be fairly frail at the time.
The fight shows that Feria is a capable warrior nowadays.
Afterwards Karja explains that Feria was extremely popular at her families tavern and heard all sorts of information including a hint that pirates were coming to raid the village and fully planned on killing everyone there. So Feria decided to marry a Norman (Viking) she was on relatively friendly terms with so that Carnak village would be protected by the Normans.
However to actually become a part of their village and ensure Carnaks safety she was required to undergo training and become a capable fighter and was eventually accepted as a part of the village herself.
Rosalind doesn't quite know how to process this information and freaks out some. I would show the following scene but it's going to lead into the chapter end boss.
