This was painful to make.


Qliphort - one of the more notible archetypes of the Duel Terminal lore - was once a powerful and feared deck back in the early days of Master Rule 3, thanks to the immense power of Apoqliphort Towers (even getting banned at one point), and for how broken Pendulums were back then. Now though, with Link monsters being introduced as well as both Master Rule 4 and Revisions, this deck has lost a ton of power…in fact scratch that. This deck is actually pretty bad now.

Getting replays for this video was nothing short of painful, what with all the constant deck customising I’ve been doing throughout it all. It also doesn’t help that, even though Scout is the best card of the deck outside of Towers, opening with it isn’t as easy as you’d think. Plus, most duels were won no thanks in part to unfun floodgates like Skill Drain and Lose 1 Turn, so there’s also that pain of playing Qlis.

Regardless, I did my best as always, which resulted in a showcase which I feel is kinda so-so. I mean, this IS a post MR4 Pendulum deck (not named Pend Magicians) we're talking about, after all; of course I'm gonna feel that I did just okay.
