I got to go hands-on with Yurukill: The Calumniation Games which is a new Escape Adventure Visual novel and Shoot'em'up hybrid developed by G.Rev which is a renowned studio for Shoot'em'ups and Izanagi Games which has some good adventure games under its belt Such as Death Come True which I thoroughly enjoyed and World's End Club which I had decent fun with. Their newest adventure Yurukill: The Calumniation Games is helmed by Homura Kawamoto who is also the Mangaka and writer for Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler - and his younger brother Hikaru Muno who has also written a few spin-offs of the aforementioned manga and anime series. The story follows Sengoku Shunju who has been falsely accused and convicted of a mass murder arson attack that has killed 21 people and is now forced to participate in the Yurukill Games to clear his name alongside other teams of prisoners and their partners who are executioners and has to figure out who the true culprit of the mass murder arson attack is.
So far I have been having a great time with the game and I am pretty much hooked on the story the game presents.
