About Zachary Tinkle

Zachary Tinkle is a 13-year-old driving sensation based in Park Ridge, IL who currently races the #53 ½ size stock car minicup car (also known as super cups). Tinkle is the 2015 Illinois MiniCup State Champion for the Short Track Auto Racing Series (STARS). He has been named 2015 Most Improved Driver and 2014 Rookie of the Year for Central States Region (CSR) Super Cups. Rockford Speedway gave Tinkle the “Lead, Follow, or Get Out of My Way” Award at its 2015 season banquet after his stellar ‘never give up’ performance during the National Short Track Championship where he persevered and drove into victory lane.

Tinkle has won a junior gas-powered indoor go-karting championship (Chicago Indoor Racing 2013) and three junior electric indoor go-karting championships (K1 Speed 2014 & 2015). Additionally, Zachary wrote the #1 Hot New Selling (Amazon) children’s book, Zachary Tinkle’s MiniCup Decision (http://amzn.com/1943356076).
