ZANE + MAGGIE = Easy Slaughter Shaft Mayhem Mode 3 TVHM Speedrun? | Borderlands 3 Best Gun for Zane?
107Yo what is up guys Chillfeed here back bringing you another Borderlands 3 video, after the 25% damage buff I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Maggie on zane lately, I think this weapon is just insane in combination with a cryo build and might even be the best gun for Zane, so I wanted to test out how fast I can make it through the slaughter shaft on pandora with this setup and many of you might say 30 minutes isn’t necessarily fast, but I felt like I was killing my enemies pretty quickly, and that is solo and with just one benefit from the mayhem modifiers with +25% gun damage but therefore it was a lot harder with the enemies that gained +40% weapon damage and +20% fire rate which made even zane struggle a few times throughout the 5 rounds, especially with multiple badass zealots and badass hardened tinks and what not at once. Also, the bloody harvest event is still going obviously, so the red and green ghosts were some more enemies I sometimes had to take care off, but for the Maggie that I got they worked quite beneficial sometimes. I got an anointed terror version that gives me +50% bonus cryo damage while being terrified which was quite nice in combination with “brain freeze” and the 6 bullets the Maggie shoots everytime you pull the trigger which I believe all have the chance to freeze your enemy. That way you don’t even need a cryo weapon for the cryo build to be effective, just make sure when going into the slaughter shaft to focus on the enemies with explosive weapons first, like badass or hardened badass zealots, because they are the most annoying enemies when multiple rockets hit you from every angle. Luckily, you can take them out quite easily by freezing them and with the all-rounder barrier augment, also, try to get an artefact like I have with bonus damage against frozen enemies since you will be freezing them a lot, ideally you want a victory rush artefact that gives you +18% damage and movement speed for 60 seconds after killing a badass and the extra bonus damage against frozen enemies on top which unfortunately I don’t have but is probably the best artefact you can get for solo zane and for the slaughter shaft.
