4Here is my first arrangement of an anime song, "Zankyou Sanka". I decided to arrange this song not just because it's a recent release from Demon Slayer, but the song also have some catchy melodies.
Let's talk about how I arrange this song.
Honestly, the start of the song has unclear notes, so I decided to also make the chord progression unclear as well at 0:01.
And I also want to make my arrangement catchy like the original song, so I added octaves with a three hand melody in 0:32 with a staccato, so it brings a bouncy effect to the song.
Starting from 1:22, I want to give a softer sound to the song so I let the left hand play the main melody and right hand having a repeating pattern, while things get gentler and gentler such as 1:33, but until 1:49....
At 1:49, honestly I don't have a concrete idea of how to arrange this part, I just improvised it out without following much of the song, hope it sounds special.
Finally, at 2:18, I decided to play the last chorus at a high register, that way the entire song is emphasized in a gentle way starting with 2:18, and in a fun and catchy way in 2:30. Also two glissandos used in the ending....
