18There Is A Reason is one of my favourite songs to loop when listening to music. And Animenz' arrangement on this song is just addictive. I don't know why but I just can't stop listening to it.
He said this song is "Just pure fun to play". And I can't agree more to that. With tons of arpeggios and three hand melodies. It's heaven for me.
My favourite part must be 2:37 and 3:57. The left- hand chorus and the right hand ascending/ descending accompaniments create a really good combo. I may use this technique if I will arrange a song in the future, as it's really fun to play.
As for the sounds, 3:48 until the end is the most epic part, therefore I put out a scene which I dropped the chess piece at 3:47 to suit the movie. The large wall of arpeggios really brings the chorus to a whole new level and thickens the texture. Last but not least, 4:17, being extremely loud and wild until the extremely fast two octave scale at 4:23, really brings out the contrast in the music.
