VALUE: 35 out of 40 - At this point, this is only based on what I've found in the forums where someone said there's probably about 10 hours of content. I usually ask a game be a game most users will be for as many hours as it costs in dollars to get a 40 score here. Most of the reviews have less than 5 hours of total time played, so giving this game a 35 here seems more than fair. An $8.99 or $9.99 USD price tag would be an easy 40 score however. *winks at the developer* psst psst.. Hehe.
FUN: 25 out of 30 - The more subjective part of my scoring, but I think this game is quite a lot of fun, dodging and shooting enemies around corners and doors is a blast. The story and dialogue adds to the fun too!
CONTROLS & BUGS: 18 out of 20 - Almost flawless. I only took away points because I feel adding Q & E to peer around corners or adding a crouch option would make the controls and game better and like they "should" be in this type of game.
GRAPHICS & SOUND: 9 out of 10 - Love the music and sound effects. The lighting is also very nicely done. For the type of game it is and the art style it's going for, I think this developer nailed it!
MY SCORE: 87% - A really fun and immersive old school pixel fps adventure with a very interesting story and character dialogue including poetry as well! I love it!
Recommended if you like this kinda game and don't mind the pixel graphics look.
