Well this is one of those games where the UK version is different to the version on cartridge/USA. I had the Synapse/US Gold version as a kid but this version is much more like the Colecovision version of the arcade game.

Both games are good but I just wanted to have the different versions up on here for people to see the difference. The Synapse version is ever so slightly smoother but the colours are just not bright enough so I prefer this one. The difference between the HES and SEGA versions of Super Zaxxon are far greater though.

(where have I been? well I have had too much real life stuff going on and no suitable machine to record videos with. Now I am back and have a machine that works)

Oh yes, VICE 2.2 has a bug for Windows that kills the sound after a while, be sure to download the newer 2.3 version of WinVICE OK :o)
