- the clip was lowered so you won't hit it when you click the pen
- the Renewal model is 5g lighter than the original Sarasa Grand
- it's now sold in 0.3mm and 0.5mm widths
- the writing tip extends a bit further
- the center of gravity is lower
The Sarasa Grand is still available for under $10 ( https://amzn.to/443MssM ) which is a very good deal, but I'd recommend spending a bit more and getting a Renewal model.
It's a very nice upgrade on a solid pen.
