Zelda: Breath of the Wild (No Commentary) #056, Search for Barta; Three Akkala Quests

Previously, Link carried out a few of the side quests available in Gerudo Town: "The Eighth Heroine", "The Forgotten Sword", "Tools of the Trade", and "The Mystery Polluter". He also began the side quest "The Thunder Helm" at the palace. Now, he will wrap up Gerudo Town's side quests and then move on to Akkala.
Link resumes in Gerudo Town.
In the soldiers' barracks, he talks to Liana (time 1:25). It seems that Barta is missing in action once again. The last time, she had gone to investigate the Yiga Clan Hideout and had gotten captured. This time, she has gone to investigate the leviathan bones in the southwest corner of the desert. It is a region of extreme heat. This starts the side quest "The Search for Barta". According to Kotta, there is a fairy in that area, but there is also a Molduga.
If you zoom in on the map, you can see the leviathan bones depicted in the southwest corner of the map, past Dragon's Exile.
Link talks to Kohm at the nearby town exit (time 4:10). He rents a Sand Seal for 20 rupees. Just after leaving town, he changes into the Desert Voe gear for heat resistance. Then, Link sets a course for the southwestern corner of the desert.
He turns west and goes through a sandstorm (time 6:11).
After emerging from the sandstorm, he reaches the Gerudo Great Skeleton (time 6:39). He finds the Hawa Koth Shrine under the skeleton's ribcage (time 6:50).
Link finds Barta under the skeleton's head (time 7:10). She asks for a Hearty Durian. This updates the objective for "The Search for Barta".
One of the shops in Gerudo Town sells Hearty Durians. Fortunately, Link has some already.
Link turns in a Hearty Durian to Barta (time 7:44). When Link tells her about the situation with her squad mates, she heads for home. This updates the quest objective. Link can return to Gerudo Town and report in.
Before that, Link examines the pedestal at the Hawa Koth Shrine (time 9:08). The door to the shrine opens, and its travel gate becomes available.
Link enters the shrine (time 9:31). Hawa Koth issues the trial "The Current Solution". This shrine features another series of electrical puzzles.
In the entrance room, Link must set up the metal blocks to conduct electricity from the power unit to the nearby switch.
In the next room, a ball and chain is attached to a power unit. With Magnesis, Link must disentangle it from the pillar and set it by the switch to power the lift.
In the nearby pool, there is a metal chest (time 11:19). After pulling it out with Magnesis, Link opens it for an Ancient Core.
After riding up on the lift, Link finds an electric ball. There is a bridge ahead. From here, Link takes out the Guardian Scouts on the bridge. After collecting the Guardian Scouts' parts, Link uses Magnesis to carry the electric ball. If it powers the switches on the bridge, the bridge will tilt and dump Link into the pool, so he holds the ball high.
Partway across, there is a power receptacle to the right. This opens a nearby door.
Link finds a chest in the neighboring room (time 13:03). It contains a Gold Rupee, worth 300 rupees. Cha-ching!
Back in the main room, Link uses Magnesis to set the electric ball in the receptacle nearby. It powers a switch that then makes a gear turn above the door to the altar chamber. However, there is another gear missing.
To the right, Link finds another large room with a puzzle. To solve it, he steps on the pressure plate to move the stone blocks with switches to the far end. Then, he uses Magnesis to move the metal blocks to the right. After he steps off, the stone blocks move back towards him. With Stasis, he freezes the closest stone block in the middle column. He steps on the pressure plate again and moves the metal blocks to block the middle and right-hand columns of blocks. The switches line up and conduct power to gears to Link's right. This opens a room with the missing metal gear.
Behind the gear, there is a chest containing a Sapphire (time 14:33).
With Magnesis, Link carries the gear to the previous room and puts it on its spindle. The door to the altar room opens.
Link examines Hawa Koth's altar (time 15:06). He earns Spirit Orb #056. He has 4 Spirit Orbs on hand now.
Link emerges from the shrine (time 16:04). It is a frigid night now, so he changes into the Snowquill set for warmth.
