Previously, Link worked on a few side quests originating in Rito Village: "Face the Frost Talus", "Find Kheel", and "The Apple of My Eye". He also did the shrine quest "Recital at Warbler's Nest", which revealed the Voo Lota Shrine.

After resuming in Rito Village, Link teleports to the Voo Lota Shrine at Warbler's Nest (time 0:31).

He enters the shrine (time 1:13). Voo Lota issues the trial The Winding Route.

After climbing the long ladder, there is a switch ahead. Look out for an obvious trap floor. The room below is dominated by a lava pit.

Link must take advantage of the wind machines to get from platform to platform. To start with, he lands on the forward left platform. Then, he rides up to the top level. He uses the air current to go across to the forward right platform.

A chest on the forward right platform contains a Small Key (time 2:54).

Link makes his way to the central right platform.

On a small ledge, a chest contains a Flameblade (time 3:20).

From the rear right platform, Link can return to the central right platform. Then, he can glide left to the door to the altar. He can unlock the door with the Small Key.

Link examines Voo Lota's shrine (time 4:14). He earns Spirit Orb #055. He now has 3 Spirit Orbs on hand.

Link teleports to the Rota Ooh Shrine near the Outskirt Stable (time 5:16).

Link delivers some Raw Gourmet Meat to Trott (time 5:36). He acquired the Raw Gourmet Meat from an animal in the Hebra Mountains in the previous video. Trott rewards him with a Silver Rupee, worth 100 rupees. "A Rare Find" complete!

Now, Link will start doing side quests in the Wasteland region. He teleports to the Kay Noh Shrine near the Gerudo Canyon Stable (time 8:15).

Link previously accepted the side quest "Missing in Action" from Sesami at the Gerudo Canyon Stable. Link must find Sesami's four friends: Oliff, Flaxel, Canolo, and Palme. He last saw them at the Koukot Plateau to the east. He will start working on this in a moment.

Link also talks to a Hylian named Pirou at the Gerudo Canyon Stable (time 10:32). Pirou issues the side quest "Rushroom Rush!" He wants Link to find 55 Rushrooms. That's a lot of Rushrooms! These fungi grow on the cliffs in the area. Pirou will give Link a Diamond in exchange.

After resting until morning at the cookfire, Link talks to Piaffe (time 12:43). He takes out his first horse, Tinfoil, to ride. Link mounts Tinfoil and begins riding east along the canyon road. When Link reaches a pass blocked by boulders, he grabs a metal boulder with Magnesis and uses it to clear the other boulders from the path. Then, he mounts up and continues riding.

When he nears the target area for "Missing in Action", Link stops and dismounts (time 15:57). He finds a set of platforms leading up the southern cliff. There are Bokoblins on the way up. Link soon finds walkways along the northern and southern cliffs and bridges linking them.

Partway up, Link rescues an NPC from a Blue Bokoblin at the western end of the northern walkway (time 17:47). This is Canolo, one of Sesami's companions.

At the site of a treasure chest that he blew up on the northern walkway, Link finds a Purple Rupee, worth 50 rupees (time 19:30).

In the east of the northern walkway, Link rescues another NPC from Blue Bokoblins (time 19:47). This is another of Sesami's companions, Oliff.

On the southern walkway, Link continues southeast past a set of ladders.

At the southeast end of the southern walkway, Link rescues another NPC (time 22:21). This is Palme.

Link also photographs an Islander Hawk for the Hyrule Compendium.

On a lookout platform near the top of the southern cliff, Link rescues the last NPC (time 27:14). This is Flaxel, the last of Sesami's companions. "Missing in Action" is updated when all the companions have been saved. The final step will be to report to Sesami.

A chest on the lookout platform contains 5 Fire Arrows (time 28:06).

On a ledge to the southwest along the southern cliff, a metal chest contains a Radiant Shield (time 28:58). Link leaves it.

Link glides back down to the canyon path. He mounnts Tinfoil and keeps riding east (time 29:39).
