Previously, Link completed the Voo Lota Shrine at the Warbler's Nest west of Rito Village. Then, he began sidequesting in the Wasteland region. He did "Missing in Action" in the Gerudo Canyon and "Medicinal Molduga" in the Gerudo Desert. Now, he will continue the side quests available in Gerudo Town.

Link resumes in Gerudo Town.

Just outside town, he talks to Bozai, a jogging Hylian (time 0:49). Bozai previously gave Link the side quest "The Eighth Heroine". Link must photograph the statue of a heroine in the Gerudo Highlands. Bozai loaned him a set of Snow Boots.

After changing to Snowquill gear, Link teleports to the Kuh Takkar Shrine in the Gerudo Highlands (time 2:26). He begins going northwest to cross the snow-covered mountains.

On a ledge northwest of the shrine, there is a half-buried metal chest (time 6:08). After pulling it out with Magnesis, Link can open it to acquire a piece of Amber.

Link climbs the cliff and continues northwest to the Gerudo Summit.

Along the way, he pulls out a metal chest that contains 5 Arrows in the snowfield (time 8:19).

He finds another half-buried metal chest (time 10:25). It contains a Purple Rupee, worth 50 rupees.

Link finds Ice Chuchus, which he photographs for the Hyrule Compendium.

He comes across yet another metal chest (time 11:46). It contains an Opal.

Another chest contains a Golden Claymore (time 12:45).

On the slopes of the Gerudo Summit, look out for Lizalfos literally hanging around on the cliff face.

In the southeast of the Gerudo Summit, Link finds a massive stone sword (time 16:14). He takes a photograph of it.

Link finds another half-buried metal chest (time 16:33). It contains a Knight's Shield.

A Lynel lurks on the Gerudo Summit. You may want to give it a wide berth.

On a ledge on the western side of Gerudo Summit, Link puts down some Wood and lights it to make a campfire. He uses it to until morning.

Link finds the Eighth Heroine Statue at the southern end of Hemaar's Descent, the valley northwest of the Gerudo Summit (time 21:00). Overlooking it from Mystathi's Shelf, he photographs it for Bozai.

Link teleports to the Daqo Chisay Shrine just outside Gerudo Town (time 21:34).

After disguising himself in the Gerudo set, Link reports to Bozai (time 22:45). Link's success comes as a surprise to Bozai. Bozai rewards Link with the Sand Boots but takes back the Snow Boots. "The Eighth Heroine" complete!

Link next finds Bozai under the tent southeast of the town's northeast entrance (time 25:31). Now, the overeager Bozai asks Link to find and photograph the Eighth Heroine's missing sword. This starts the side quest "The Forgotten Sword". This time, Bozai will not loan Link the Snow Boots.

Fortunately, Link already found and photographed the Forgotten Sword! It is in a valley in the southeast of the Gerudo Summit.

So, Link reports in to Bozai (time 28:03). Astonished, Bozai rewards Link with the Snow Boots for keeps. "The Forgotten Sword" complete! Unfortunately for Bozai, this is not his lucky day.

In the palace in Gerudo Town, Link examines the Thunder Helm (time 32:00). When Link expresses his desire to borrow the helm, Riju asks him to gain the trust of her people. This starts the side quest "The Thunder Helm". For this, Link must complete side quests from the people of Gerudo Town. Specifically, he must complete "Medicinal Molduga", "The Mystery Polluter", "The Search for Barta", and "Tools of the Trade".

Outside Starlight Memories, the accessories shop in the north of the town's main square, Link talks to Isha, the jeweler (time 34:20). Isha needs 10 pieces of Flint. This starts the side quest "Tools of the Trade".

Link already has enough Flint, so he hands it over to Isha (time 35:29). She lets him select a reward based on the jewel: Ruby, Sapphire, or Topaz. Link chooses Topaz. Isha gives him Topaz Earrings, which grant shock resistance. "Tools of the Trade" complete!

Link peruses Starlight Memories. He can trade in money and the appropriate jewels to acquire accessories. Accessories provide resistance based on the type of jewel they use.
