Zelda, Link, and Bonus Pikachu - From a Larger Painting, #shorts #nintendo #art
Zelda, Link, and Pikachu, oil on paper. This is the second part of a larger painting featuring a bunch of video game characters. As I mentioned in the first post, it's a "commission" from a non-profit organization, but I'm donating the painting so it's more of a request/giveaway situation. I'm always excited to paint or draw for a purpose though, so this was really fun. The painting itself is wider than my usual size, so I wasn't quite sure how to share it in this vertical format. I'm breaking it up into a couple sections, then consider if there's a way to share the full view.
I haven't played the more recent games, but I loved the Legend of Zelda and Adventures of Link on NES, as well as Link to the Past on SNES, back in the day. This Zelda and Link are based on the Breath of the Wild versions. And Pikachu from the Pokemon games was a must-add considering how much my kids love the little guy.
