Zelda: Ocarina of Time MQ Playthrough #077, Spirit Temple, Adult (3/4), The Shifting Wall
This is video #077 in my playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Master Quest. The northeast door on the first floor of the Spirit Temple can be opened with the Small Key recently collected in the main hall. In the room beyond, there is a pit here boulders rolling in it. Before going down into the pit, Link knocks down a rusty switch with the Megaton Hammer. This opens up an alcove in the pit. But before going down into the pit, Link eliminates the Moblin standing at the far end.
There are several alcoves in this pit. In the first one, signified by the blue block, he should play the Song of Time. In the next one, signified by the Lon Lon milk crate, he should play Epona's Song. In the next one, signified by the sun face, he should play the Sun's Song. In the next one, with no obvious markings, he should play the Song of Storms. In the last one, he should play Zelda's Lullaby. When all this is done, the northern door will be unbarred.
The next room is infested with Big Skulltulas. The Big Skulltula in front of the treasure chest is invisible, so be careful. Gold Skulltula #98 is also on the wall here. The chest contains a Purple Rupee.
When Link goes back outside, that confounded club-wielding Moblin will be back and in a perfect position to clobber Link with shockwaves. But if Link gets far enough onto the right or left side, he will be out of range of the shockwaves and can shoot the Moblin down with arrows.
Now, there is a locked door up on the third floor, but Link cannot get through it without a Small Key. The only Small Key that he can collect is through the western crawlway on the first floor, and he can only fit through that crawlway as a child. So, he returns to his childhood at the Temple of Time and returns to the Spirit Temple to pick up that key. Once he has that key, he returns to his adult self and goes back to the Spirit Temple. There is just no way around doing this, I'm afraid.
Armed with the new Small Key, Link heads up to the main hall. Upstairs, there is an invisible chest that has appeared on the northeast platform, but it just contains a recovery heart. After collecting this, Link heads through the southeast door.
Upstairs in the room with narrow walkways, he takes the southwest door, which is locked. This time, the climbing wall is a bit more difficult because Link has to gather Silver Rupees. Pretty icky, especially since Link can't grapple to the moving wall sections. Fortunately, he can grapple to the stationary wall sections. The higher wall panels slide pretty quickly. There is a Torch Slug on the landing--nothing too difficult after that climb.
Up on the fourth floor, Link arrives at a Triforce mark in front of a locked door. Playing Zelda's Lullaby here unbars the door upstairs to the left. Since the door ahead is locked, the door to the left is the only one to take.
Thanks for watching!
