This is the 106th video in my Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword playthrough. Falling to the bottom of the Ancient Cistern's central colossus, we encounter a Stalmaster, which is an elite Stalfos. As the battle drags on, it will be able to use four swords. My advice with this guy is to wait for an opening. If you time a Shield Bash poorly, you could get hit several times. The prize for defeating Stalmaster is the Whip. I think this is the first time the whip has come to the Zelda series. It is useful against flying enemies, and it can pull distant switches. Indeed, it is needed to get out of the chamber where we are located.
In the main chamber, we find a switch to trip on the western wall. This turns off a waterfall and allows us to swim to the western part of the dungeon. After defeating a Skulltula, we find a chest with a Red Rupee.
