Zelda Trident of Power EasyRPG Test! Controls Workaround! Mini Classics!
This is merely a tech demonstration, workaround, to showcase a few specific things one may encounter when running said game! Ideally, having the game properly mapped, so there is no need for "debug" and/or "walk through walls", would be the best, most enjoyable way to play it! Enjoy the Video!
To think, Nintendo originally felt USA couldn't handle playing a game as "advanced" as Legend of Zelda! Same drill with RPGs, such as Final Fantasy! Decades later, we have dozens of sequels for both of these amazing game series!
In any case, this is an incredible fan made game. Simply google Zelda Trident of Power, to find the game files! EasyRPG Core will run it! And, for PSC, copy entire game directory to _DUMMY, or wherever you run the games from! And, load the RPG_RT.ldb file, within Data folder, to "start" the game! For MD/SNES/NES, add the RPG_RT.ldb, AS IS, non-compressed by hakchi!, as a game, and then navigate to the CLV, copy ALL the rest of the files from the Data folder over to the CLV folder! Nice and easy!
Trident of Power is one of the most impressive RPG Maker Games I have come across. And, I was not even aware of it, til roughly a couple weeks ago...when Requiem and BlackSunshine brought it to my attention! So, I devised the temporary workaround, so you all can at least play the game, to a degree...for now! But, let's all hope that things can be fixed up, Core Side, so neither debug/walk through walls are needed, at all:)
Thanks, original devs of Trident of Power and EasyRPG Core/Emulator/s over the years, as well as BlackSunshine and Requiem for their awesome input and feedback and test results!
Requiem has his own YouTube Channel, which showcases some incredibly awesome homebrew games. So, if you ever wanna find the "next game" to check out, be sure to check out his channel!
