Zelda Twilight Princess - Early Hyrule Field Gate Clip with Epona softlock?
2So heres my thought process doing this completely blind aside from the back in time first gateclip which I learned like half my life ago and just like doing it to refreshen my brain so I wont forget it; so after I get back in time with sword and shield, I got the idea to go to the lantern guy and attempt to clip through that gate, because I have always been thinking it would be possible, just didnt think about using Eponas collision as the stone, in this case, its a bit wonky setup, took me a bit to get it consistently, and now I finally know whats behind there, after all these years. Its the loading trigger to Hyrule field. from there I tested a lot of collision elsewhere, including hyrule field gate and boulders that are blocked off that early, which I dont think I have in this highlight as it would be pretty long if I did, but the entire vod is on my twitch at the end of my last stream basically. Now, I have no idea if others havent discovered this, and to me it only lead to softlock once I became wolf again; First and foremost, you seem to not get the sense ability as wolf link, if it can be restored somehow, I have no clue, and it seems the 3 enemies required to be killed as wolf link requires the move where you target all 3, basically having a safety guard to prevent you from not doing it without, again, there may be other ways, but I lack a lot of knowledge for this game and just wanted to share my findings in hope that it may be interesting to someone. if it have been discovered before, I wont take any credit for it, even though I did it out of my creativity, out of principle and respect to peoples work who came before me. if anyone knows about this, please let me know, or know a workaround to save the savefile or if its just doomed there, tried many different things that is not in this video. I love doing this for a living, finding stuff on my own, 1 glitch usually leads to another. Dont mind me lollygagging about in hyrule field, havent played it in years pretty much, but I wanted to see if this could be an easier setup for back in time glitch to skip the annoying enemy you have to push to the twilight area and use him as a leverage to go past midnas textboxt, thats how I came up with this basically cus I couldnt remember how I did it as a kid.
