Previously, Link began exploring the Gerudo Desert in the Desert Province west of the main part of Hyrule. He gathered a few Poe's Souls, and he restored the bridge segment on Gerudo Mesa to the Bridge of Eldin in the north of Eldin Province.

At the Bokoblin camp in the northwest of the desert, he conscripts another boar (time 1:10). Using the boar, he can dash through the barricade to the north of the camp.

In the far northwest of the area, he finds another Poe at night (time 1:45). Defeating it, he obtains Poe's Soul #35.

Then, Link finds the Golden Wolf sitting in front of the pass leading north (time 2:17). The Golden Wolf here is unlocked by howling at the Howling Stone in Lake Hylia. After testing Link's mastery of Helm Splitter, the skeletal trainer will school Link the fifth Hidden Skill, Mortal Draw. Link must sheathe his sword and, without L-targeting, wait for the foe to approach. Then, when the enemy is close, he can press A to use the Mortal Draw. This is lethal against many foes. It is a risky technique, but it can be pretty useful.

Afterwards, Link takes the northern path (time 5:56). This leads him to a Bokoblin base set up in front of the prison. Link should take out the Bokoblin archers set up on towers as he progresses through the base. They will summon more Bokoblins to attack Link on the ground.

In the northeast of the base, one of the Bokoblins holds a Small Key (time 9:17). Link will need this.

Also in the northeast, there is a dead boar roasting on a spit (time 9:32). Link can bust it open with his sword to get Piece of Heart #26!

In addition, in the southwest corner of the northeastern area, there is a chest containing a Purple Rupee, worth 50 R (time 10:07).

In the southeastern part of the structure, there is a chest containing 20 Arrows (time 10:52).

Then, from the northern side, Link goes through the locked gate into the central structure (time 11:23). Within, he finds King Bulbin! For this third battle, King Bulbin attacks with a massive axe. He is quite susceptible to a Shield Attack followed by a Helm Splitter.

A scene occurs after King Bulbin's defeat (time 12:40). After King Bulbin limps off, the building is set on fire!

Link then regains control (time 13:22). He'll need to ride the boar and dash north through the gates. He will automatically dash north and reach the exterior of the condemned prison to the north, the Arbiter's Grounds.

Up the stairs and to the east, Link can light two torches (time 14:06). When both are lit, a chest appears. It contains a Purple Rupee, worth 50 R.

To the west of the dungeon entrance, Link finds a Poe at night (time 14:37). Defeating it, he obtains Poe's Soul #36.

Link backtracks to the Bokoblin base (time 15:19). In the wreckage of the central area, he finds another Poe at night (time 15:34). Defeating it, he obtains Poe's Soul #37.

Link goes back south to the main part of the desert (time 16:24). With a boar, he dashes into a barricaded area northeast of the Bokoblin camp (time 17:05). A chest here contains a Red Rupee, worth 20 R. Too bad Link's wallet can't hold it all yet.

Link warps back to the Castle Town area of Hyrule Field (time 17:28). He hunts a little to fill out his Big Wallet with 600 Rupees.

Afterwards, he warps back to Castle Town (time 22:15). As he heads into town, he is ambushed by the letter carrier. The mailman delivers the letter "Heroes, come together!" from Malo Mart. The letter announces the grand opening of Malo Mart in Castle Town. The grand opening special is one Magic Armor. Guess why I'm going there!

In the Castle Town Central Square, Link checks out Malo Mart Castle Branch in the southeast (time 24:23). After talking to the weirdos inside, he talks to the salesman (time 25:20). He spends the much more reasonable amount of 598 Rupees to buy the Magic Armor. The Magic Armor will slowly drain Rupees while Link wears it, and when he gets hit, he will lose money, not health. This could prove helpful in the Cave of Ordeals.

Afterwards, Link warps back to the Gerudo Mesa in Gerudo Desert (time 27:32). He dashes north through the Bokoblin base (time 28:42) to the exterior of the Arbiter's Grounds (time 29:03).

Then, he enters the Arbiter's Grounds (time 29:26). He will begin exploring the dungeon in the next episode.
