Previously, the humans imprisoned in Gallows Moor incited a revolution. Now, it is time for the party to help out by defeating the cruel Blackmar.

After resuming, the party Zooms back to Gallows Moor (time 0:29). Before pressing on to Blackmar, they see what everyone has to say. Patricia in the pub on B2 is now running ... Patty's Party Planning Place! Nifty. The executioner, Dogmus, is sleeping like a baby on the second floor. Too bad the party can't sock it to him right now.

By the entrance to Blackmar's chambers, the party finds Captain Zozagel zonked on the floor (time 14:59). They do not have to talk to him, but if they do, they will fight him. Time for revenge! He employs various Slash-type attacks, Mercurial Thrust, Roundhouse Kick, and Multislice, and he can attack twice in a round.

After beating him up, the party heads into Blackmar's chambers (time 18:27). They find Blackmar, Sister Anne, and a couple of Blackmar's flunkies within. Apparently, Blackmar believes the party poses a mortal threat to Mortamor.

After a brief scene, the party engages Blackmar (time 19:18). He comes with two Dragooner flunkies. Probably best to take down the Dragooners first. Like many bosses, Blackmar can attack twice in a round. Blackmar's attacks include a groundquake that can damage the entire party, but it misses often. He has Kasap, and he will use it liberally. Also, he has flame breath. Otherwise, he is mostly a physical brute. When his allies are defeated, he will resurrect them.

It is a good idea to boost defenses with Kabuff and keep up with his Kasaps. The Hero vocation's Gigaslash ability is a powerful attack. Hustle Dance and the Sage's Stone are excellent sources of healing, but it may be a good idea to have Multiheal, as well. Using Insulatle is a good idea to mitigate his flame breath attack.

After all the enemies are dead, Heorot, the Prince of Somnia, reaches Level 37 (time 24:39). Ashlynn, the Scion of Sorceria, reaches Level 35. Heorot reaches Hero Rank 8, Legendary Hero, and learns Kazapple. Terry reaches Mage Rank 4, Enchanter, and learns Fuddle and Kasap. Blackmar drops a chest with a Silk Tuxedo. Okaaaay...

A scene occurs after Blackmar's defeat (time 25:35). Apparently, there are two that the monsters cannot allow to meet. After Blackmar fizzles out, Erdrick and the townspeople arrive to help sister Anne. Without Blackmar, his subordinates vanished. And now the door to the Supreme Sage should be unlocked.

Next time, the party will check on the Supreme Sage.
