Previously, Link went home to Ordon Village and acquired the Iron Boots from Mayor Bo. When he returned to Kakariko Village, he saved Colin from the monstrous King Bulbin, who had captured him. He also bought the Hylian Shield at Malo's new shop in Kakariko. The objective now is to climb Death Mountain.
First, though, he goes to the Bridge of Eldin section of Hyrule Field (time 0:58). He is heading there to go after a few more Golden Bugs.
He has barely arrived when the annoying postman draws near (time 1:27). He delivers a letter titled 'URGENT NOTICE!' from Kakariko Goods. This is to let Link know that a new item shop has opened in Kakariko Village.
In the southern part of this part of Hyrule Field, Link finds the Male Grasshopper (time 3:12). This one jumps around a lot and can be hard to get hold of.
The Female Grasshopper can be found in the northwest of this part of the Field (time 4:52). Look out for Leevers in the vicinity.
The Male Phasmid is found on the southern arch of the Bridge of Eldin (time 5:57). Link will have to pull him down with the Gale Boomerang before he can grab him.
On the northern side of the bridge, Link will find the Female Phasmid high on the rock wall to the east (time 7:10). Again, he will have to pull her down with the Gale Boomerang to get her. That's 10 out of 24 Golden Bugs so far.
Then, Link returns to Kakariko Village (time 8:45). From there, he heads north to Death Mountain (time 9:01). As he climbs the mountain trail, he will encounter several Gorons that will challenge him. To get past them safely, he will have to wear the Iron Boots and then grab them by holding A. Be sure to hold A until Link has thrown them aside. In the open section with fumaroles, look out for Bokoblins on the cliffs. It is probably best just to run through.
As he reaches the northern part of the mountain, a brief scene takes place (time 11:42). One of the Gorons high up heads into the base to alert their leaders.
Eruptions will become frequent as Link enters the low valley. During the first eruption, a massive, red-hot crag of rock will be ejected (time 12:30).
To climb further up, Link will have to stun some Gorons, knock them down, and climb atop them to get propelled to higher passageways. Make sure to take the Iron Boots off before climbing onto them, or Link won't get much height out of the jump. The boots are also needed to get past certain fumaroles. The tunnel will have two more Gorons to wrangle.
Finally, Link reaches the Goron headquarters (time 16:01). A group of Gorons awaits, but their elder, Gor Coron, calls them off before they do serious harm to Link. He will not allow Link to pass through to the mines unless Link defeats him in sumo wrestling.
They proceed directly to the sumo wrestling (time 17:31). However, without the Iron Boots equipped, Link will get knocked out of the ring instantly.
After donning the Iron Boots, Link talks to Gor Coron again (time 20:00). I actually find this a little easier than the second match against Mayor Bo. Gor Coron then explains what has gone wrong with the Gorons' patriarch, Darbus. Link must now explore the Goron Mines and come to the aid of Darbus.
When Link heads towards the exit, a nearby Goron will call to him (time 24:39). He gives Link access to the southwestern elevator.
Afterwards, Link takes the elevator down by standing on the switch with the Iron Boots (time 25:09). On the level below, he can open up a couple of shortcuts.
First, he moves aside the stone downstairs to the east (time 25:31). This will grant easy access to and from the path leading back to Kakariko Village.
Then, Link moves the stone to the west (time 26:02). This opens up the path to the hot springs. The shop here has a few offerings, including Arrows, which point out the weapon provided in the upcoming dungeon.
From the Goron headquarters, Link takes the exit north into the Goron Mines (time 28:35). Looks like a hot place, all right! He will start exploring this fiery dungeon in the next episode.
Thanks for watching!
