This is my 100th video of my Playthrough series and in this one, I'll be doing a playthrough of a game that I got a physical copy from a very old friend, back in the beginning of 2002. That game is: Zen - Intergalactic Ninja for the Game Boy. This game was developed by Konami and published by Palcom Software, it was released in 1993. The US version came out a year earlier in 1992 and it was developed and published by Konami. This game was also released for the NES, but it was a different game compared to the Game Boy version that I'm playing here. The Game Boy version of Zen: Intergalactic Ninja is a action platform game. Lord Contaminous is trying to destroy the Earth, so it's up to Zen, the intergalactic ninja, to save the day. Gameplay consists of Zen going through various stages in order to defeat Lord Contaminous. The stages include the oil, smog, dust, and dam areas. These stages can be tackled in any order, before the final stage opens up. Zen comes equipped with a photon stick he uses to defeat his enemies. He also has the ability to do a slide maneuver as well as a jumping kick. There are also items scattered throughout the stages such as one that can give Zen temporary invincibility or another that can refill a bit of Zen's depleted energy bar. This version of Zen: Intergalactic Ninja shares some similarities with the console release; however, the stages and the visual style are different, and the gameplay is generally simpler. Overall, Zen: Intergalactic Ninja for the Game Boy is a fun decent action platform game. If you haven't played this game before, either on the NES or Game Boy. I recommend to give it a try! I hope you enjoy this playthrough video of Zen: Intergalactic Ninja for the Game Boy and thanks for watching!
