Zendaya Reacts To Doing Her Own Stunts On Set
3,868Zendaya is beyond talented. She’s an incredible actress, a skilled dancer, a great singer, a trapeze artist and has swung through New York City with Spider-Man! The actress has done a surprising amount of her own stunts in her films and tv shows. For the third Spider-Man film, Zendaya did film some huge jumps in a field, while in Spider-Man: Far From Home, she swung over 100 feet in the air! The actress and Tom Holland performed one stunt that swung them over a huge pile of cardboard boxes which was one of the biggest Zendaya had to prepare for. With all that work, effort and facing of nerves, the shot didn’t even end up being used in the movie. To make it all even worse, they actually re-shot the scene and instead of doing it the way they originally had, the actors pretended to do that impressive stunt but only two feet in the air. Zendaya was definitely disappointed to have not had the world see her facing her fears and flying through New York, but even she admits that the fake version of the scene shot afterwards looked much better. Zendaya was quite surprised to end up becoming a full trapeze artist while she was filming The Greatest Showman with Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron. She performed almost all of her own stunts, including major aerial tricks and all without a net! Her experience with Efron was definitely a highlight, even though the two had one very awkward experience when they were rehearsing!
