Story:
Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play, fantasy role-playing game developed by HoYoverse. Set in a world after a supernatural disaster called the Hollows destroys society, only a single metropolis of human civilisation remains, the city of New Eridu. Players take control of a vibrant team of characters with unique fighting styles and combat specialisations, as they explore the city of New Eridu and the post apocalyptic world that surrounds it. As you explore the world, you’ll take on a variety of enemies in fast paced combat, gather resources, complete side quests, and find collectable Bangboo creatures that can aid you in battle.
Age Rating:
Zenless Zone Zero has been rated a PEGI 12, meaning it’s not suitable for anyone under the age of 12 years old. This content has received a PEGI 12, because it features moderate violence and some sexual posturing. During cut-scenes, human characters are heard reacting to violence in pain, although the violence itself is implied rather than depicted. Violence during gameplay is non-realistic looking with humanoid characters backflipping when struck and landing on their feet, seemingly unharmed. Robot characters simply fall to the ground then vaporise into pixels when destroyed. The game also features mild sexual posturing from the female characters, including sight of their underwear and a focus on their clothed breasts. The game also features bad language which is generally covered up by asterisks or bleeping, although the word 'dammit' can be heard.
This game offers players the opportunity to purchase in-game items, in the form of an in-game currency, using real money. Some parents or carers may want to be aware of this. This currency can then be used to obtain items and characters in the in-game store.
It should be noted that the game can still be played without the need to purchase such items.
The game released on July 4th 2024, for Playstation 5 and PC.
