Zer0 W0lf Plays DELTARUNE Chapter 2: Part 4 - An Alternate Beginning
2Sorry for not uploading on Tuesday or Wednesday! It's a long story, so buckle in!
When I started this playthrough from Slot 3 of my Chapter 1 Files, I was surprised to find my inventory empty, yet my weapons and armor intact. On Tuesday, I started Chapter 2 from Slots 1 and 2 to investigate, and it was during this time that I did things I didn't think to do in Parts 1-3. Those slots also reminded me of the different actions I had taken in Chapter 1. Slot 1 had a trash can in Kris's Castle Room because I had thrown the Manual away in front of Ralsei, and Slot 2 had Noelle give Susie a lunchbox full of chalk before leaving because I told her that Susie ate Alphys' chalk. When the Chalk became Light Candy and I saw how much it healed, I knew I was going to need it for the "Spamton NEO" I've heard about. The Glass/Shadow Crystal was present in my inventory from the start in Slot 1, but I had to play through the end of Chapter 1 again in Slot 2 for it to show up there. All of this motivated me to uncover as much dialogue at the beginning of Chapter 2 as I could by starting Chapter 2 from all my Chapter 1 Files repeatedly, which included multiple revisits of Chapter 1. After two days of research, I had made a list of all the new dialogue I could see in Chapter 2 up to the point I had played in Part 3 of this playthrough. The only dialogue I couldn't show off in this video was the dialogue triggered by talking to Seam without having defeated Jevil in Chapter 1. This was the dialogue I got in Slot 2 before replaying Chapter 1's ending. I intend to show off the lines I have seen thus far as well as any future ones in other videos later down the line. As for Part 5, that video will have me obtain the Light Candy, give the Shadow Crystal to Seam again, and redo the Item Fusions and Party Dojo Challenges before moving on with the story.
