Zero Wing PC Engine CD Game Movie
4Zero Wing (Zero Wingu) ist ein 1989 veröffentlichtes Shoot ’em up des Spieleherstellers Toaplan. Nach einer Umsetzung als Arcade-Spiel wurde es 1991 von Toaplan für den Sega Mega Drive in Japan und 1992 von Sega in Europa portiert. 1992 erschien in Japan eine weitere Portierung durch Naxat Soft für die PC Engine (CD-ROM). Die Arcade-Version wurde in den Vereinigten Staaten von Williams Electronics Games vertrieben.
Die europäische Version der Sega-Mega-Drive-Portierung wurde insbesondere durch die schlechte Übersetzung (Engrish) der Texte bekannt, deren bekanntester Satz das später zum Internet-Phänomen gewordene ist.
Zero Wing (Zero Wingu) is a shoot 'em up released in 1989 by the game manufacturer Toaplan. After being implemented as an arcade game, it was ported by Toaplan for the Sega Mega Drive in Japan in 1991 and by Sega in Europe in 1992. In 1992, another port by Naxat Soft for the PC Engine (CD-ROM) was released in Japan. The arcade version was distributed in the United States by Williams Electronics Games.
The European version of the Sega Mega Drive port became particularly known for the poor translation (English) of the texts, the most famous sentence of which was All your base are belong to us, which later became an Internet phenomenon.
