Anyways, I picked up this game a few months ago and started playing it recently. It's definitely not your standard Touhoulike shmup; it's not even a danmaku-style shmup strictly speaking.
It's quite difficult for me. There's two loops of 4 stages each, and at the very end of 2-4 you can choose to fight the TLB, with all of your remaining continues becoming your lives. The twist is if you lose, all of your game progress gets reset (you "reincarnate"), meaning you have to earn all of your continue orbs again and play the game through again to unlock all the stages.
I didn't think I'd like this game because it's not the usual danmaku shmup but it's pretty addictive fighting to get better each time, all the patterns are fast paced and definitely get your blood pumping.
I practiced 2-4 until I could clear it using only one continue, but it was still not enough to get through the TLB blind (though idk what I was expecting, it's probably intended for you not to get through it blind). Last glass orb attack on the monk was a disaster lol.
TUO and FDF3 demos are releasing early next week. I might be busy with IRL stuff but will get gameplay and music uploads of them out when I have time.
