0Disco Ditzy is even harder on the eyes than it was in Zeux's World, and Metropolis 1 has a better visibility than before but a significant number of additional enemies, including bats and a clam that weren't there before. I also managed to make a slow time spell effect kind of glitch out, but that's not the most interesting thing here. Where there was once a special shop that sold up to three extra lives for 5 gems each, there's now a secret exit, and...
Finally, some of those randomized stages the manual and game overview were talking about! Presumably, there will be sets of these hidden somewhere in each of the other main regions (spring, summer, and winter) as well, but where? Perhaps earlier glimpses of a few things that seemed a bit out of place matter more than I thought at the time...
I think I remember a Remix stage replacing Grasslands Secret in the demo version, so you could see one early on, but that obviously doesn't happen in the full game.
Anyway, if completion percentage matters, it's probably best to wait on the Remix stages until you have all the special gems so you can see all the invisible blocks.
