Zilog and Moto - Episode 95: Toe Jam and Earl - Genesis
8Have you ever played a game that was so original, that you could honestly say that it was like nothing you had ever played before? It's not as common now as it used to be. But in 1991, a little game from a handful of developers that had gotten together to create their version of the old standard Rogue, did just that, and created a game that was a sleeper at first, but then launched a franchise that's still going to this day.
Very few retro games can feel as fresh as they did when they were first released, but Toe Jam and Earl does just that, and I had just as much fun playing the game this past week for the review as I did playing it almost 30 years ago. Take a look!
